Elisbridge school no- 2

Planning for the school-

In the last visit we decided to spend time with each other. My objective for today’s visit is to know more about her family and her personal life. And I want to understand about her nature also. May be it will help us to progress with her in her school. She told me to come after 7^th march so almost after a one month I will go to her school.

School visit-

I went to her school and she was in a very happy mode. I came to know that this week her daughter was engaged and for that she was busy. I congratulated her and then she told me to sit beside her. I started the conversation asking about the programme.  Within the discussion she mentioned about her husband and told me that her husband was very strict and dominating for that she was very shy in her home. This was surprised me because it did not match with her character. She was very talkative and dominating kind of nature and in the opposite side she was very calm and quit in her home. I asked her that what side of her character she liked most. She said that she loved to talk to work but the circumstance of her family was totally different. After talking long time with her she expressed that she was dominated by her supervisor and for that she has to work according to her.

Then she said that she wanted to work in the school but because of the pressure of the work she could not able to give time. I told her that I would come her school after recess if she agreed with that. She told me to come next day and she asked me to start some activity with children. I told her that we would continue our conversation next day. After few days we would start to work on children.

My learning –

I don’t know how this conversation will help me to work in her school. But it must make a difference between the relationships with her. Next day we will do the life mapping activity then gradually I will start to discuss about the PLDP and school. I have to understand first her thinking about her school and about herself. Then I will work on the children. In this school I have to work on HM first then with the children.
