The Gandhi Fellowship Programme

India is a big country with some big problems that remain unsolved. These exist across the fields of education, healthcare and livelihoods, and encompass wider issues such as social justice and individual responsibility. The Gandhi Fellowship Programme aspires to develop the next generation of leaders who are committed and equipped to lead change in a variety of sectors, to find effective and innovative solutions to these problems.

The Gandhi Fellowship is a two year, full-time, residential leadership programme that selects the best from among the inspired and inventive young people of India to resuscitate the country's ailing government schools. An initiative of kaivalya Education Foundation, the Fellowship is a special nursery that raises and nurtures young people of different persuasions and predilections to confront real challenges and solve live problems. It's a slice of life, an intense 4 semesters during which, each Gandhi Fellow works with five Principals to support the Government School in their change process.
